The OATFACS Summer Conference provides professional development opportunities designed specifically for Family and Consumer Sciences education teachers looking to excel in the classroom, boost their CTSO, and strengthen the field of FCS.
Attendees will receive up-to-date professional development training, share ideas, and network with other FCS teachers from across the state.

Extend your knowledge of foods from around the world by “traveling” around the world in Dublin, Ohio.

This is a walking tour and participants will walk from vendor to vendor to sample foods and learn about the cuisines.
Includes
Enough food for generous dinner
Tour guides (1 for every 16 people)
8 different tastes (6 savory, 1 dessert, 1 non-alcoholic drink)
Anticipated cuisines: Lebanese, Vietnamese, Somali, Cuban, Moroccan, Hawaiian

They will be able to accommodate vegetarians but not other dietary restrictions such as gluten-free
Partnering with Columbus Food Adventures, we explore global cuisine and expand our knowledge on the diverse food offerings in Dublin, Ohio.
As with all our walking tours, this tour runs rain or shine – please dress appropriately for the weather. We are able to accommodate vegetarians with advance notice. We are unable to accommodate other dietary restrictions.
This culinary tour is priced at $65 for OATFACS members and $75 for Non-OATFACS members. It includes tastings at 6 stops and an experienced guide with a wealth of local culinary and historic knowledge.
